Loan Transfer Overview
New servicer. Same loan terms.
A servicing transfer changes the company that manages your mortgage account. The transfer does not change your loan terms.
What may change
- ✓BrightShore Mortgage becomes the company servicing your loan.
- ✓You may need to register for a new online account.
- ✓Your payment instructions and account portal may change.
- ✓Your Welcome Notice includes important transfer-specific information.
What does not change because of the transfer
- ✓Your loan terms do not change because servicing transferred.
- ✓Your interest rate does not change because servicing transferred.
- ✓Your obligation to make payments remains in place.
- ✓If your loan has escrow, escrow activity continues to be managed through servicing.
